2004
September 16th, 2004
- First WCR recruitment event is held at Cork Launge in Chicago
2005
June
- WCR debuts for the Chicago public at the Congress Theatre. To accommodate the venue, the WCR skated on an abnormally small track. More than 3,000 fans watched the scripted game play that included fake fights.
August
- Several WCR meet roller derby legend Ivy King at the Roller Derby Hall of Fame induction. Her tenacity, contribution to the sport, and love of dirty jokes led the league to name the championship cup after her.
November
- The Fury become the inaugural Ivy King Cup winners. Ask a WCR skater about the first IKC on DVD
2006
February
-The Dust Devil Invitational, the first-ever all-women's roller derby tournament is hosted in Tucson, AZ. The WCR All-Stars, having skated for one season on a smaller track and minimal competitive training finished 18 out of 20
June
- To accommodate competitive game play, WCR began skating at the Cicero Stadium in Cicero, IL. and shifted focus to regulated, unscripted roller derby
November
- The Fury win the Ivy King Cup for the Second season in a row
2007
February
-The second annual Dust Devil is held in Tucson, AZ. WCR did not advance out of the initial "round robin" bracket
April
- WCR's Third Home season begins
August
- At the Eastern Regional Playoffs in Columbus, OH, WCR placed second in the tournament behind New York's Gotham Girls a huge leap in skill since the previous year
October
-WCR places seventh at the 2007 WFTDA National Tournament
November
- The Double Crossers win the Ivy King Cup for the first time
2008
January
-WCR's fourth home season begins
June
-Hell's Belles win the Ivy King Cup for the first time
October
-WCR finishes second behind New York's Gotham Girls in the WFTDA Eastern Conference Finals
- WCR holds its inaugural interleague bout at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago Versus the Carolina Rollergirls. WCR wins 191-16
November
-WFTDA's National Tournament is held in Portlan, OR. WCR finishes second behind Gotham Girls
2009
January
-WCR's inaugural home bout is held at the UIC Pavilion and marks the Beginning of WCR's fifth season
June
-The Manic Attackers win the Ivy King Cup for the first time
November
-Follwing a bye at the WFTDA National Tournament in Philadelphia, the WCR All-Stars fall to Denver Roller Dolls in the Second Round of play
2010
January
-WCR's Sixth season begins at the UIC Pavillion
June
- The Fury win the Ivy King Cup for the third time
September
- WCR places first in the North Central Regional Tournament in Green Bay, WI.
November
-WCR hosts it first interleague tournament at the UIC Pavilion: the 2010 WFTDA Championship, Uproar on the Lakeshore. WCR All-Stars lost in the first round to the Oly Rollers of Olympia, WA.
2011
January
-WCR's Seventh Season begins
June
-The Fury win the Ivy King Cup for the Fourth time
October
- WCR All-Stars take the North Central Championship for the third consecutive year, making them the only WFTDA team to retain a regional title for that long
November
- WCR All-Stars fall to the Kansas City Roller Warriors in the second round of the WFTDA Championships in Broomfield, CO.
2012
January
- With a revamped home season format, WCR opens it's eighth season at the UIC Pavilion
June
-The Manic Attackers win the Ivy King Cup for the Second time
September
-The WCR All-Stars place first in the North Central Regional Playoffs, extending their undefeated streak in the region
November
- The WCR All-Stars receive a by in the first round of the WFTDA Championships, but lose to the Denver Roller Dolls in the Second round
2013
Januray
- WCR opens it's ninth season at the UIC Pavilion
April
- The WCR All-Stars journey to their first-ever international trip to play in London, England
June
- The Fury win the Ivy King Cup for the fifth time
September
- With revamped divisions and playoffs seeding, the WCR All-Stars place first in their playoff in Asheville, NC. to advance to the WFTDA Championships
November
- The All-Stars compete in the WFTDA Championships in Milwaukee. The team defeats the Phily Roller Girls in the first round, but fall to B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls in the second round
2014
January
- WCR opens its 10th season at the UIC Pavillion, marking a decade of modern roller derby in Chicago
May
- The 10th Ivy King Cup Championship is played and won by the Double Crossers
