Windy City Rollers (WCR) All - Stars home bout of the season saw them dominate Detroit Derby Girls!!
WCR All-Stars played their last home bout of the season. It was a special night being that it was Alumni night and over a 100 alumni attended the bout! So a little extra pressure for WCR to kick ass and get the win! So here is a brief summery on what happened!
After the 1st jam it looked like it was going to be a great and low scoring game that's until Sandrine Rangeon made her WCR All-Star Deybut and scored 34 points!! After Jam 9 Athena DeCrime added 21. WCR defence was incredible after Jam 10 it was 63-19. In jam 15 Ying added 20 more points and again defence really kicked Detroit's ass! However Detroit made a bit of a comeback after trailing 110-30 Detroit scored 54 points after three jams. Lead at that point was 110-60. Detroit never had a chance! Final score was 240-127 In the end WCR were a scoring machine and on Defence they looked like a wall Detroit's Jammers didn't know what to do!! Ying O'Fire Was MVP and had a total of 68 points!!
Next up, the Windy City All-Stars head to Milwaukee for the WFTDA Championships where they first take on the Philly Roller Girls on Friday, Nov 8 at 4:30 p.m. CT
